Las Vegas, United States - September 11, 2018 /PressCable/ —

Building Alexa Skills was a task that only experienced programmers could accomplish, but not any more. Thanks to this new point and click, drag and drop platform…any one can build their first Alexa Skill in minutes without writing any code.

Chuckie Rich, author from Created For Success, researched to discover if she could actually build an Alexa skill in one day with no prior experience.

Rich reported, “After creating a free account, watching a few video tutorials from VoiceApps’ YouTube channel, I actually created my first demo skill within 20 minutes.”

Rich went on to explain, she was surprised at how fun and informative it was to watch the video tutorials and use the visual editor within the VoiceApps platform. After doing a little research and gathering the information needed, she published a real skill that can be found in the Alexa Skills marketplace on Amazon.

You can also get paid to Build Alexa Skills in more than one way. One way to earn is with Alexa Developer Rewards.

Amazon’s website states, “Every month, developers can earn money for eligible skills that drive some of the highest customer engagement. Eligible skill categories include: Education & Reference; Food & Drink; Games, Trivia & Accessories; Health & Fitness; Kids, Lifestyle; Music & Audio; and Productivity.”

Amazon and VoiceApps also offer different types of rewards from t-shirts, Echo dots and even cash rewards given each month to encourage people to build their first Alexa Skill.

Skills provide a free experience for customers, however, you can offer premium content and customers using your skill can agree to purchase this premium content. Paying for premium access can be accomplished with a simple voice purchasing flow using the payment options associated with their Amazon account. As the skill creator, you set the list price and get paid 70 percent of the list price you set. This is another way to profit from building Alexa skills.

Artificial Intelligence has created a new economy! Forbes Magazine reported the results of a recent study which showed Voice Technology will be a 40 billion dollar industry by the year 2022.
